Privacy Policy
At Tuvyo, your privacy and security are fundamental to everything we build. Account creation via email or Google is mandatory to maintain a safe and respectful community, but we never sell your personal information, and we do not record or store your live video conversations.
Nickname Privacy
Choose any nickname to protect your identity when talking to strangers.
Peer-to-Peer Encrypted
Video & audio flow directly between devices via WebRTC.
No Chat Logs
Text messages are ephemeral and vanish when you skip to the next person.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Tuvyo operates without user accounts. We do not collect or store:
- Names or usernames
- Email addresses or phone numbers
- Passwords or credentials
- Contacts, address books, or social profiles
- Payment details or banking info
2. How Video Calls Work (WebRTC)
Video chats on Tuvyo utilize the standardized WebRTC protocol. Once our signaling server introduces you to a stranger, the audio and video stream travels directly between your device and your chat partner’s device (peer-to-peer). Tuvyo does not record, intercept, or archive your video conversations on our servers.
3. Ephemeral Technical Logs
To maintain system uptime, prevent DDoS attacks, and enforce bans against abusers, our edge servers (powered by Cloudflare) process technical data including anonymized IP hashes, connection timestamps, and browser user-agent headers. These logs are stored temporarily and purged automatically.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies to build behavioural profiles. We only store basic, non-personally identifiable local preferences (e.g. microphone mute state or age confirmation tokens) on your local browser.
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Tuvyo is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from or market to children under 18. If we become aware that a minor is accessing the platform, we immediately block access.
6. Contact Our Privacy Officer
